A combo market and florist - it has the expected upsides and downsides of a small store (lower turnover means fewer awesome fresh things, etc. Small, dark and crowded -- an old school local market). Still, if you live in Barron Park, it's an easy walk or bike to get here, and you can grab that missing potato for your soup. It's not the place to go for high-end groceries. But you probably figured that out already from looking at the storefront. Can of beans? Yes. Particularly if you don't mind that it's discounted a bit because of some dents. Bleu d'auvergne? No. The owner is local, friendly, and helpful, and has been here longer than most of the tech scene. Pro tip: He sells *great* pumpkins. We bought pumpkins there for halloween that lasted until spring. (!) (You could well ask why we still had them in spring -- well, because they lasted so long!).
